Accounts Assistant


Counted recruitment are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a great service business based in Birmingham. The role will see you play a crucial part in a fantastic finance team.

Main duties of this Accounts Assistant role include:

  • Track transactions and ensure their accuracy
  • Produce financial statements for each period
  • Oversee the company’s financial status
  • Reconcile invoices and balance sheets (Bank Reconciliation)
  • Validate and track expense reports
  • Journals
  • Basic financial accounting duties

Location / Office / Hours

The office is based in Coventry but has hybrid working with a minimum of 1 day a week in the office.

The company is a global provider for the exhibitions industry and won over 200 global awards and work in over 70 different countries. They are expanding year on year hence the need for a new member in their finance team.

What we are looking for

A candidate who has basic management accounting skills and experience within a service industry is preferred but not essential. The ideal candidate will be studying AAT or have a relevant university degree.
