Assisant Management Accountant

Counted Recruitment are currently recruiting an Assistant Management Accountantfor a great manufacturing business based in Cannock. The role will see you play a crucial role in a great finance team.

Main duties of this Assistant Management Accountantrole include:

• Assisting with month end reports
• Bank sheet reconciliations (tracking and reconciling bank statements)
• Cash flow forecasting
• VAT returns for consolidation
• Participants in external & internal audits
• Assist and supervise accounts payable/ receivable (invoice logging and matching)
• Updating financial spreadsheet

Location / Office / Hours

The business is located on an industrial park not far from Cannock centre. There is free on-site parking, but you will need to drive to get there.

Culture, Ownership and Industry

Their turnover is currently around £7 million and is increasing year on year. The business is constantly acquiring more business, hence the need for another addition to the team.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate would have a good understanding of management accountant duties and are keen to extend their skills into a more progressive role. Studying ACCA or CIMA would help.
