Assistant Management Accountant

Counted Recruitment are currently recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant for a great service business based in Coventry. The role will see you play a crucial part in a fantastic finance team.

This role is remote, with just 1 day a month in the office

Main duties of this Assistant Management Accountant role include:

• Month end duties such as:
  
• Cashbook journals,
• Month end journals
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Forecasting & Reporting;
• Dealing with queries and data requests from different departments and help cover these departments when needed;
• Engagement in continuous improvement for the company;
• Ensure SOP’s and process notes are all in place to help maximise opportunities for improvement;
• Ad Hoc duties.

Location / Office / Hours

The business is located in Coventry, but this role is mainly remote. You may need to visit the office occasionally but not regularly.

Culture, Ownership and Industry

Privately owned, this company is growing year upon year and are looking for another accountant to join their team through this growth. Their finance team is split between the UK and Germany and have circa 50 in the team.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will be studying AAT or starting CIMA/ACCA and seeking to get into a more "accounting" role.
