Finance Analyst

Counted recruitment are currently recruiting a Finance Analyst for a great service business based in Solihull. The role will see you play a crucial part in a large finance team. 

Main duties of this Finance Analyst role include:

• Play a key role supporting daily, weekly and monthly management reports
• Liaise with centres to understand P&L drivers
• Provide ad-hoc financial information and analysis to various stakeholders
• Support budget owners throughout the business in understanding and controlling costs
• Have active involvement in creating budgets and forecasts for future activity
• Responsible for reconciling several areas of the balance sheet
• Produce quarterly VAT returns

Location / Office / Hours

The business is a large listed business based in Solihull. The business is a large company, operating nationally who have hybrid office hours and fantastic future potential. You will need to drive to get there, but there is free parking on site.

Culture, Ownership and Industry

The business is a fast paced listed business, turning over Billions and with a finance team of circa 100. The business has been constantly growing over the last few years and are now looking to add a new accountant who will grow with them.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate would be a strong financial analyst, keen to progress. ACCA / CIMA is useful, but not important. Candidates from data, financial or pricing backgrounds are all welcome
