Finance Manager

Counted Recruitment are currently recruiting a Finance Manager for a great service business based in Coventry. The role will see you play a crucial role in a fantastic finance team. 

Main duties of this Finance Manager role include:

• Responsible for running the day to day running of the finance functions
• Deliver the monthly management accounts at both an activity and departmental level
• Produce a fully reconciled monthly finance pack including balance sheet reconciliations 
• Deliver the year end accounting, audit and tax compliance process
• Support the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecast
• Assess and evaluate the accounting and reporting processes and controls and find ways to improve them
• Prepare and submit UK VAT returns
• Drive effective financial management of the companies grant programmes

Location / Office / Hours

This business is a fantastic technology business, based in Coventry. Easily commutable, with parking, the company offer a very flexible hybrid structure.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have strong management accounting and reporting skills, will be able to manage 1 member of staff and be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
