German-speaking Accounts Assistant

Counted Recruitment are currently recruiting a German-speaking Accounts Assistant for a great service business based in Coventry. The role will see you play a crucial part in a fantastic finance team.

This role is remote, with one day a month in the office

Main duties of this German-speaking Accounts Assistant role include:

• Invoicing and purchase orders
• Dealing with suppliers by replying to queries and discrepancies
• Reconciling, reviewing, and agreeing to supplier statements and payments
• Cashbook posting
• Deal with queries and data requests from different departments and help to cover these departments when needed.
• Finance point of contact for the German side of the business
• Engagement in continuous improvement for the company
• Ensure SOP’s and process notes are all in place to help maximise opportunities for improvement
• Ad Hoc duties

Location / Office / Hours

The business is located in Coventry but this role is mainly remote. You may be needed to visit the office occasionally but not regularly.

Culture, Ownership and Industry

Privately owned, this company is growing year upon year and are looking for another accountant to join their team through this growth. Their finance team is split between the UK and Germany and have circa 50 in their finance

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have graduated with a relevant bachelor’s degree or be studying AAT. This will be a fantastic first step into transactional finance. The candidate must also be able to speak German as they will be the main point of contact for that side of the business.
