Internal Audit and Compliance Assistant


Counted recruitment are currently recruiting an Internal Audit and Compliance Assistant for a great property business based in Birmingham. The role will see you play a crucial part in a large finance team.

Main duties of this Internal Audit and Compliance Assistant role include:

  • Undertaking internal audit reviews
  • Maintaining and implementing compliance policies and procedures
  • Managing relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Assisting in the investigation and review of incidents arising from failures in internal control
  • Monitoring corporate governance, regulatory and legal procedures, systems, controls and processes to identify and mitigate risk
  • Supporting all management teams in identifying, reporting and managing risks

Location / Office / Hours

This business is based in Grade A offices in Birmingham City Centre. The company works a hybrid structure of two days in the office and three days a week from home.

A large, internationally owned group with thousands of staff across the globe, you will join a team of five. The business has been constantly growing over the last few years and are now looking to add a new accountant who will grow with them.
