Senior Financial Accountant - Flex

Counted Recruitment are currently recruiting a Senior Financial Accountant for a great professional services business based in Birmingham City Centre. The role will see you play a crucial part in a fantastic finance team.

Main duties of this Senior Financial Accountant role include:

• Overall ownership for the delivery of, financial accounting for the UK group, statutory accounts for the UK group and smaller overseas subsidiary, and consolidations
• Overseeing the year end audit process
• Driving robust controls throughout the company
• Management of 2 staff
• Delivery of a range of projects across the UK Group

Location / Office / Hours

A leading professional services firm with a range of highly qualified staff in their finance team, this UK-based business turns over £150m+ and has circa 20 in the finance team.

What we are looking for

A strong ACCA or ACA qualified candidate is key. Practice background with industry on top is useful, but candidates with relevant experience purely from practice or purely industry are welcome too.
